RE:LOCATE

RE:CREATIVE is excited to announce the opening of our office in Austin, TX! In the last year, Partner Johnny Chau has relocated to the capital city of The Lone Star State — known for its innovative business environment, leadership in "Green" urban policy and growing interactive design community. While Johnny has enjoyed warmer temperatures than the New York team in recent winter months, he has continued to work seamlessly as part of RE:CREATIVE's ongoing projects in event collateral, website development, periodical design and direct marketing materials from his new central air-conditioned office (key to withstanding the summer months, we're told).
To further introduce ourselves to the local community (and connect with new many new friends from the northeast) RE:CREATIVE was onsite in Austin for the 2011 SXSW Interactive/Film/Music Conference from March 11th - 18th. During the Conference and related Tradeshow, we circulated 1,500 letterpressed QR Cards leading to an A/B landing page test. (View the QR Card in an impromptu elevator pitch video)
Aside from being an extremely effective, tactile ice-breaker for trade show conversations, the cards generated a nice bit of buzz and received an impressive response rate from mobile devices — with a discernible lift in performance from one of the two landing pages. Want to know more? Schedule a meeting with us to talk about designing effective engagement pieces for your next business conference, trade show, PR effort or fundraising campaign!

RE:TRAIN
"RE:CREATIVE has helped us create a wonderful campaign that communicated
exactly what we wanted to communicate. I can't say enough good things about
them."
Charles Park, Lead Pastor, The River
If you ride the subway in New York City (or walk in Tribeca/The Financial District), you probably have seen RE:CREATIVE's latest out-of-home advertising campaign for The River — a contemporary non-denominational church congregation in lower Manhattan. As a follow up to last year's memorable billboard/direct mail campaign, The River has now extended their promotions to include complete subway car takeovers and outdoor lamppost banners. Based on the success of these earlier efforts and their quote-centered theme, the series will be continuing with a second targeted direct mail effort from our strategic design studios. We're excited to encounter the near-instant recognition in people's faces when we mention the campaign and have had fun encountering our work in daily trips around town.

RE:COGNITION

We're very proud to have designed our second CASE Award winning issue of the Horace Mann Alumni Magazine! Since 2009, each issue of the alumni publication has been released in print and via the Nxtbook digital magazine platform. This concurrent release strategy has demonstrated its effectiveness in retaining the experience of legacy readers while expanding interaction with the piece to a wider audience. The existence of the digital edition also dovetails nicely into the long-term sustainability initiative undertaken by Horace Mann School and highlighted in this particular issue. Click here to view the award-winning periodical design created in the RE:CREATIVE studios — the latest success story in our decade-long relationship with this top-ranked school.
